Birth Doula Services
With my first, I labored alone for hours, while my husband was trying to fill up the birthing tub and prepare my desired labor environment. My baby was born 20 minutes after my midwife arrived. I never made into the tub, never lit candles, never put on a playlist... I made growling sounds for hours while going between the toilet and my bed. It wasn't what I had planned, but I still felt strong and powerful at the end of the experience.

Everyone deserves to feel this kind of strength and empowerment by being in control of their birth journey. I want to help reinforce women, encourage them to use their voices to get what they need and deserve.
The needs of a laboring woman are dynamic. The doula provides emotional care and support throughout and works with the medical providers (doctors, midwives, nurses). The doula is not a replacement for the partner. It is an opportunity for both mother and partner to feel supported, giving space for relaxation and connection.

CONSULTATION AND PRENATAL VISITS
Let's meet. I want to hear your birth wish list, your fears, your needs, your questions.  I will find out how I can best support you as well as a partner.  We will have open dialog throughout your pregnancy.
BIRTHING
I will provide physical and emotional support throughout the entirety of your birth adventure.  As your Doula, I want to help you feel calm and confident. No matter what happens, I've got you!
POSTPARTUM
We will find a time share our experiences of your birth. Relive you, a total badass, showing such strength and perfection.   I can also provide resources to help with breastfeeding, newborn care, and connecting with other new moms.
